The Mozambican tourism industry is hoping for thousands more visitors from South Africa now that low cost airline 1Time is flying between Johannesburg and Maputo, according to Quessanias Matsombe, president of the country’s hotel association.

South Africans were once the mainstay of the industry, which has now revived after the troubles of the past, with new hotels planned or already in business.
